I had reserved a larger SUV but when I arrived, the vehicle was not available. In order to get the same size vehicle (actually not as big), I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade to a higher class vehicle. If the vehicle I had booked was not available then I should have been given the upgrade at no charge.

I arrived to pick up my car, only to find they didn't have any vehicles left to offer. Then they asked me to cancel my reservation and pick up another car at another location. Long story short, it took another 2 bookings to pick up a car and in the end it was more expensive as we had previously agreed. Now I don't know yet how many bookings are in my credit card... Don't recommend.

I didn’t get either of the cars expected but it turned out the Nissan Qashqai was perfect. I loved the gps and the 360 camera. The room was also good for 5 people with modest luggage.

The overall experience was good but I wanted to pick up the car couple of hours early but the agent at the terminal didn’t allow me to rent it before even when they had so many cars available. I would have appreciated a little flexibility with the rental time as what I have seen with other rental companies in the USA.

One of the tires of the car became flat on the highway. Had to drive the car to the repair center at the speed of 5km/h. Spent 2 hours in the repair center and was told the tires were to worn and should have been replaced long time ago. VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. How could you even rent a car like this? Can't imagine what could have happened if I hadn't noticed the flat tire.

I had a reservation with Budget that they refused to honor, when I arrived. I had made the reservation months earlier online. When I arrived, they actually gave me the car no problem, then it had something wrong with it, so they went to exchange it for another one. Somewhere in that process they decided that they couldn't give me a car at all for my original reservation, and refused to honor their commitment. I WAS SHOCKED. So I was standing there, stranded, with my 72-year old mother, two dogs and 5 suitcases in a country where neither of us spoke the language, and she hadn't left the US in probably 20 years. It was awful, unethical, and honestly, appalling, that they would do that. Then, they wouldn't even cancel my reservation and give me my money back! So I still need to call and ask for a refund. But it took us nearly a week to reach our destination, having to go way out of our way on trains, and rental cars... it was a nightmare. We had spent nearly $30k on this trip around the reservation we had made with Budget. I don't even want to know how much more it costs us to fix what they did in Rotterdam. Unbelievable.
